Adriana has earned a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Bucharest in Romania. After she moved to the United States in 1990, she decided to go back to school and study accounting and fell in love with it. In particular, the tax law captured her heart and after she graduated with an MS degree in Accountancy from the Sacramento State University, she decided to make taxes her career and never looked back. Adriana started her tax career at KPMG in Sacramento in 2000. After moving to San Francisco in 2009, she has gained valuable experience at various firms of all sizes. Prior to joining Calegari and Morris in December 2017, Adriana was a senior tax manager at BDO USA.

Adriana’s expertise encompasses tax compliance, planning and research for high net worth individuals, their families and related pass-through entities, trusts, estates and private foundations. Adriana also has experience with foreign bank account reporting requirements including PFIC calculations, foreign tax credit utilization, and FBAR filings.
